Party on the Thames

27th June, 8pm – midnight

On the first evening, we will be jumping onto a riverboat for an evening of fun and dance and we guarantee this will be a memorable evening with lots of photo opportunities on the boat whilst you enjoy light buffet with your favourite drinks.
Venue: The Tattershall Castle
Address: Victoria Embankment, Whitehall London, SW1A 2HR

Visit to East London

28th June, 1pm – 4pm

After the closing of pre-conference, we will be visiting East London in groups. Here, you will get to appreciate this unique side of London with different demographics, culture and architecture. You will also get to visit the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park which hosted the 2012 Olympic Games. We will be heading to main conference venue for the opening ceremony after this event.

FURTHER INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS

Food

A light buffet will be served onboard but a substantial meal (i.e. dinner) is not included in our evening party on the Thames so we suggest everyone to make arrangement for dinner in advance after the day of conference. As everyone that signed up for social events will be assigned to a small group with a team leader, we recommend that you organise a meal with the group and have an ice breaking session before the party.

Lunch is not included for our visit to East London, however, there will be plenty of opportunity to get food during the visit. On the day of visit, your team leader will be able to give you further guidance on the places you could go for lunch.

Transport

Each participant will need to have a contactless payment card or oyster card for transportation around London. You can purchase an oyster card in all London underground stations on arrival.

REGISTRATION

  • The registration fee for both events is £25.
  • The deadline for registration is the 31st May 2022.
